Rider Profile

Name: Dave Sewell
Nick Names: Choifa, Captain Rude
DOB: 13 October 1972
Disciplines: Road cycling, beer consumption (I’m very good at that) and touring in stripy leggings…
Bikes: Specialized S-Works Tarmac SL, Specialized Skunk-Works SL Touring
Favourite Specialized product: Aside from the bike, the Decibel helmet
Results resume: 2nd Preston Trophy Handicap, St Kilda crits: 2nd “C” Grade, and a few places in “D” grade when I started. I once rode up l’Alpe d’Huez with panniers one hour slower than Lance Armstrong, but I’m not sure this is altogether something to shout about…
Tour de Fat Goal: I'd like to get over all of the mountains without having to walk it and find some good home-made booze along the way.

Hey Dave

Hope you and the bikes have made it safely to Europe...we are hanging out for the first instalment of Tour de Fat.

Watching the tour at the moment and are very jealous that you get to be riding in that beautiful weather (as opposed to Melbourne cold and rain).

Have fun

Dave, Re: "Aussie Tough", you could really impress some of your fellow campers by whipping out a couple of #10 knitting needles when next performing the acupuncture. "Donau", wear the fox hat??Dad

Since you've all been such good boys and girls, I would like to take everybody in this entire audience out for milk and cookies. There are buses outside. Everybody follow me.

"Glorious, stirring sight!" murmured Toad, never offering to move. "The poetry of motion! The real way to travel! The only way to travel! Here today - in next week tomorrow! Villages skipped, towns and cities jumped - always somebody else's horizon! O bliss!O poop - poop! O my! O my"!
I suspect Toads' mode of travel may be less strenuous?? JDS
